Nearly three-quarters of the global paper supply is derived from ecologically valuable forests. Responsibility in preserving and renewing the Earth’s natural resources is integrated through the supply chain and daily operations of Gussco since paper is the basis for the products produced. Raw materials used in Gussco’s products are sourced from companies that follow rigorous 3rd party SFI certification standards in responsible forestry management. In addition, Gussco’s manufacturing facility is SFI certified, which underscores a commitment to integrity, accountability, and stewardship.

The SFI Program provides environmental standards and performance measures that integrate the protection of our environment with the perpetual growing and harvesting of trees, and the protection of wildlife, plants, air and water quality.

Organizations that meet the rigorous standards for SFI certification have demonstrated a commitment to the principles of sustainability on the lands they manage and in the products they produce.
