Security

Safeguarding your privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. Our site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts your data while it is being transferred over the Internet. We also use the latest encryption technologies to protect the security of your credit card information while we are processing your order.

How to Pay

Gussco accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards.

Shipping Method

Shipments to addresses within the United States are shipped via UPS. We ship most orders the same business day if your order is entered before 3:00 PM EST.

Sales Tax

Gussco will collect sales tax for purchases made in New York and New Jersey.

Tax-exempt entities can request a refund of the tax paid on an order. We will need a copy of your tax-exempt certificate and the billing or shipping address on the order must match the address on the certificate. Please include your order number or a copy of your receipt or invoice. You can fax a copy of your certificate, with order number or invoice to 973-571-2300.

Return Policy

Gussco Manufacturing must be notified in writing before any merchandise is returned for credit or exchange. If a return request is approved, a return authorization number will be issued. All cartons and papers must reference this number. Returns without an authorization number cannot be accepted. When requesting return authorization, itemize merchandise and identify invoice, order and date. Special order merchandise cannot be returned. All returns are subject to a 20% handling charge. Purchaser pays return freight.

Custom ordering
Sales Policy

Gussco products are sold through established channels.  To qualify, a customer is required to hold a resale certificate and actively support Gussco stock or custom opportunities.  Gussco will support qualified customers by turning over to them orders and inquiries from consumers.  Goods will be billed directly to the 'tax exempt' user.

Gussco offers ‘buy & hold’ and ‘stock & hold’ merchandise programs.  Additional surcharges may apply.

Buy & Hold:  Increase the purchase commitment quantity to lower overall costs.  Release and ship as necessary.  Inventory is purchased in it’s entirety at the time of order.

Stock & Hold:  Increase the purchase commitment quantity to lower overall costs.  Only make, release and ship as necessary.  Inventory is purchased and billed during each transaction.

Gussco will dispose of 'buy and hold' or ‘stock and hold’ inventory where purchase activity is inactive for a period of 12 months.

Pricing includes freight FOB Delivered and Set-Up Charges unless otherwise noted on the quote.  All custom orders are bulk packaged (no inner pack) unless otherwise specified.  Any change to specifications or custom order packaging may constitute a change in price.

What is the custom quoting procedure?

Forward orders, samples inquiries and correspondence to our Gussco Customer Service team.  Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

All requests for quotes for special merchandise must be in writing.  Fax transmission or e-mail is acceptable.  For quoting and ordering accuracy, samples should be sent to Customer Service in New Jersey.

Quote lead time is at minimum 36 hrs and no more than 60 hrs from time of receipt of request or sample.

Mock Sample Lead Time: 3 business days

Hand Sample Lead Time: 7 business days

Custom ordering procedure

Order by referring to a Gussco Quote Number, Custom Item Number on the quotation, submit sample and or camera ready artwork with order to Customer Service.  Additional charges for typesetting & artwork may apply.  Lead time confirmation and shipping confirmation will be supplied to PURCHASER of merchandise.

Underruns and Overruns

In filling orders, delivery and billing of not over ten percent (10%) more or less than the quantity orders constitutes filling an order. PURCHASER shall be billed only for the quantity shipped.  For orders specifying 'no overs/unders' SELLER will add 5% to quoted invoice price.

Minimum Order & Freight Terms

Custom Merchandise - $100.00 net per invoice per item (excluding freight).  Stock merchandise - $100 minimum; $500 FOB Destination.  Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico prepaid to port, port to destination prepaid and billed.  Additional handling charges may apply for special delivery such as inside/desktop delivery.

Shipping Policy

Gussco reserves the right to use the carrier and routing of our choice.  Dropped shipments will be charged to the dealer or wholesaler originating order.  Shipping instructions should be given with each order.  When no routing or shipping instructions are given, Gussco will use its best judgment to provide the lowest possible cost.

Claims

All disputes must be communicated within 10 days of receipt of shipment.  Method of communication can either be phone, fax, e-mail or your web-based system, within 10 days of the occurrence.  Any related debits must be processed within these same 10 days.  In any instance, communication received after 10 days may result in your claim being denied. All claims for damages or shortages must be filed by the consignee with the delivering carrier at the time of delivery.

Merchandise Warranty

All products are sold and samples provided with the understanding that PURCHASER has independently determined the suitability of such products for.  Gussco warrants the products to be free from defects in material and workmanship.  This limited warranty is further subject to the condition that PURCHASER notify SELLER of any patent defects in material or workmanship within thirty (30) days of the date of delivery.

Standard production lead times

Stock folders with fasteners:   2 weeks

Special file folders:   2 weeks

Classification folders:   3 weeks

Printed folders; including patent folders:   3 weeks

Expanding pockets and wallets:   4 weeks

Special guides with blank tabs or standard inserts:   2 weeks

Special guides printed on tabs:  3 weeks

Rush service is available.  Additional charges may apply for rush requests.
